Patchouli (Pogostemon Cablin) Organic Essential Oil -15ml (Including IVA)

This oil has a bold, distinctive scent that is deep, spicy, earthy, and woody. Patchouli oil blends well with Lavender, Cedarwood, Clary Sage.  There are three species of patchouli: Pogostemon cablin, Pogostemon heyneanus, and Pogostemon hortensis. The cablin species is the most popular and is primarily cultivated for its essential oil, as its therapeutic properties are considered superior to those of the other species.

Patchouli’s active components provide therapeutic benefits, earning it a reputation as a grounding and soothing essential oil. This makes it ideal for use in cosmetics, aromatherapy, massage, and home cleansing products, where it helps purify both the air and surfaces.

Patchouli oil has been used for centuries in perfumes. It is beneficial for skin care, helping to alleviate issues such as eczema, cracked skin, and chapped lips. Additionally, it addresses hair problems like dandruff and an oily scalp. Patchouli oil is commonly incorporated into anti-aging skincare products and can help reduce the appearance of scars on the skin.  This oil can effectively deodorize body odours and soothe inflammation when used topically after being blended with a Carrier oil of choice.

Dilute at a percentage of 1% for long term use which is 3 drops Essential Oil to 10ml of a Carrier Oil.  A 5% dilution can be used for short term use which is between 10-15 drops Essential Oil to 10ml of a Carrier Oil.
