Peppermint Piperita (Mentha Piperita) Organic Essential Oil – 15ml (Including IVA)

This oil is highly concentrated and is derived from the leaves and flowering parts of the peppermint plant. The most active ingredients found in this oil is menthol and menthone.  Peppermint Pipertia has a classic minty, fresh penetrating scent that can be blended with Essential oils from the citrus, herb, and tree/wood family. It is steam distilled.

Peppermint Piperita is a versatile oil that can be used topically and in aromatherapy to aid with muscle and joint pain, skin itchiness, and headaches.  When blended with Jojoba, Almond Sweet, or Castor Carrier Oils and applied topically to the forehead and temple area it can help reduce pain related to tension headaches.

It can aid with scalp problems and hair growth.  Apply a blend of 3 drops Peppermint Piperita, 3 drops Rosemary to one tablespoon of Jojoba or Castor Carrier Oil.  As this blend is massaged into the head it will improve blood flow.  Massage for approximately 5 minutes, allow the oils to absorb for at least 30 minutes or longer and wash hair as normal using lukewarm water.

It is considered to be one of the best essential oils for seasonal allergy relief because of its anti-inflammatory and invigorating properties.  As it has an extremely powerful and penetrating scent only 5 drops of oil is required when diffusing or using it in an inhaler.

This oil can boost concentration and help with stress.

Dilute at a percentage of 1% for long term use which is 3 drops Essential Oil to 10ml of a Carrier Oil.  A 5% dilution can be used for short term use which is between 10-15 drops Essential Oil to 10ml of a Carrier Oil.
